JDDA foundation will host concert by Sumi Jo, a Grammy Award-winning South Korean lyric coloratura soprano. All the funds raised from this event will be donated to JDDA Foundation, which mission is to help the children of missionaries and their continuous education.
The most famous musician to come from Korea, Sumi Jo is celebrated for the precision, agility and warmth of her voice. Her career soared when she came to the attention of maestro Herbert von Karajan, who described her as a voice from above. The Grammy Award-winning soprano has performed with the world’s leading conductors in the most famous opera houses and concerts in the world. This year her rendition of Simple Song Number 3 from the film “Youth” was nominated for an Academy Award.
