Since 2000, the Italian Cultural and Community Center of Houston, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, has granted over $200,000 in scholarships to college students. Each year, new scholarships are awarded via the several scholarship opportunities the ICCC offers to new students and continues to renew all awards based on grades, up to 4 years per student.
In 2020, the ICCC is introducing a new event with the goal of expanding its scholarship program offerings to foster more opportunities for students to attend higher education. Don’t miss the first-ever Roman Holiday Fashion Show & Luncheon on Thursday, March 12th! Taking cues from the Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck classic Roman Holiday (1953), the 2020 Fashion Show & Luncheon includes a prosecco lunch, Italian designers on the runway, raffles for various gift baskets, and more. All guests are invited to dress according to the theme.
This special event will help raise funds for a new scholarship program dedicated to students who are (1) currently enrolled at a Houston-area college or university and (2) participating in a study abroad program in Italy. It is ICCC’s goal to launch this new scholarship in 2021. With your support of the 2020 Fashion Show & Luncheon, you are helping ICCC lead students closer to achieving their dreams. The Roman Holiday Fashion Show & Luncheon will be held at the Junior League of Houston on Thursday, March 12th. Tickets are available for purchase online at www.iccchouston.com.
