Alec Benjamin is a singer and songwriter who has become well-known for his popular songs “Paper Crown,” “I Built A Friend” and “End of the Summer.” At just 24 years old, Benjamin's music has been hailed as having a storyteller's flair. His latest mixtape has been celebrated for its ability to speak beautifully on love and friendship in a way that a wide range of audiences can relate to. In addition to his solo project, Benjamin has found success in songwriting with artists such as Jon Bellion.
He made his US television debut when he performed "Let Me Down Slowly" on The Late Late Show with James Corden on January 8, 2019. Alec is heavily influenced by artists such as Eminem and Paul Simon. Many believe this will be Benjamin's year, but whatever happens, he has come far from the days that he used to play in the parking lots of concerts.
