In a career that has spanned over three decades, comedian, actor and best-selling author Jay Mohr has become an artist that is very difficult to define. Jay Mohr is the rarest of entertainers. After 25 films and starring in his own groundbreaking series produced by Joel Silver and the late Ted Demme (Action) he starred in the CBS scripted comedy Gary Unmarried. Jay has guest-starred in over 50 different television dramas and comedy series episodes, but his role on an episode of Law and Order: Criminal Intent as a Charlie Sheen-type character ripped from the headlines garnered much attention and respect.
Throughout his journey, Jay still loves performing stand-up comedy. Anyone that has ever seen one of his concerts will be quick to tell you that there is no one better. Comedy Central agrees, having named Mohr one of the 100 greatest stand-up comics of all time. A simple bio doesn't do the stage show justice, as there are no notes, no two shows are the same, and his acts never pick on the audience.
