The fourth Annual Ready Houston Preparedness Kit Chef’s Challenge will feature five of Houston's top culinary talents who will compete on-site to create the best dish from non-perishable food items typically found in a disaster preparedness kit. There will be several giveaways including restaurant gift certificates, first aid kits and other preparedness items. Information on disaster preparedness will be available, and families can tour emergency response equipment and talk to fire and EMS staff.
